A new poll by the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Center for Insights in Survey Research of Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), North Macedonia and Serbia reflects a broad consensus that these countries belong to neither the West nor the East. The so-called ‘yellow vest’ protests against rising fuel prices and a planned fuel tax in France, which started on November 17, 2018, not only took France by storm but also resonated in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
